Age Requirements

Individuals two (2) years of age or older must possess a ticket for entry into the AMP. For certain events, a child under two (2) years of age is admitted free of charge and must be seated on a parent/guardian’s lap. Some family shows may require children under the age of two (2) to purchase a ticket.

Airports

TF Green Airport is located less than seven (7) miles from the AMP. This is the closest airport to the arena and is accessible via public transportation.

Aisles

For safety and as a courtesy to other ticketholders, guests are prohibited from sitting or standing in the aisles. Any guest not in compliance may be subject to ejection.

Alcohol Service Management Policy

Alcohol is served at most AMP Events. Delaware North staff is trained in responsible alcohol service management.

Acceptable forms of identification:

  • RI Driver’s License
  • RI Liquor ID
  • RI ID Card
  • Out of state driver’s license PLUS secondary form of ID such as a signed credit card 
  • Out of state driver’s license
  • Passport
  • Military ID – Accepted Forms:
    • A valid active military identification card with a photo, which proves that the patron is 21 years of age or older.
    • A valid retired military identification card, which states that the expiration is indefinite on the front and has a birth date and an expiration date printed on the back of the card.

International driver’s licenses are not accepted at the AMP. 

To be in possession of alcohol at the AMP, guests must be able to produce valid identification. Any patron in the possession of alcoholic beverages not obtained on premises will be subject to eviction.

  • No refunds will be offered for confiscated alcoholic beverages.
  • Any patron who presents false identification or who passes alcohol to a minor may be subject to ejection and arrest.
  • No more than two (2) alcoholic beverages will be served to a patron at one time, and we reserve the right to limit service to one drink per patron or to deny service for any reason.
  • Alcohol service will end at least one (1) hour prior to the scheduled end of an event. We reserve the right to discontinue the sale of alcohol at any time.
  • Any patron whom we believe to be impaired will not be served an alcohol beverage.
  • Alcoholic beverages may not be taken into or removed from the AMP.

The AMP is a No Passing Zone

Providing alcoholic beverages to anyone under the age of 21 at the AMP is against the law. Violators who provide alcoholic beverages to anyone under the age of 21, as well as anyone under the age of 21 who accepts an alcoholic beverage, will be ejected from the AMP and could face prosecution and revocation of season tickets or other privileges.

Animals

Certified service animals are permitted at the AMP. Guests with service animals may not take up an additional seat. If a seat is needed, a ticket must be purchased for the adjacent seat.

Assistive Listening Devices

Guests who require an assistive listening device for an event should go to Guest Services upon arrival to secure equipment. A driver’s license or picture ID is required for the device.

ATM's

 ATM machines are located in the following areas:

  • On the concourse across from Section 125/126
  • In the West Lobby, which is nearest the Hilton/Starbucks

Bags

To uphold health and safety protocols, minimize contact, and ensure a swifter entry process, the AMP strongly discourages guests from bringing large bags to events. If a bag is necessary, the following restrictions apply:

  • Backpacks, luggage, briefcases of any size are considered prohibited items and are not allowed in the arena.
  • Bags that measure larger than 14”x14”x6” are considered prohibited items and are not allowed in the arena.
  • Bags that measure between 6”x4”x1.5” to 14”x 14”x6” are subject to visual inspection. 
  • Diaper bags and bags needed for medical purposes are permitted and will be subject to inspection. We kindly ask that you contact the AMP via email at amppvd@pvdricenter.com 24 hours prior to the event if you require additional accommodations before arrival. 

Reminder: Guests with prohibited items will not be permitted entry to the arena. The AMP does NOT provide on-site storage. Guests are asked to plan accordingly.

Banners & Signs

Signs measuring 8½” x 11” or less that adhere to the Guest Code of Conduct are permitted in the arena. However, Management may prohibit and confiscate signs that violate the Guest Code of Conduct, are not event-related, excessive in size, contain indecent or derogatory comments or images, political statements, or commercial references. Signs and banners may NOT be hung anywhere in the AMP. Signs or banners with poles or stick are NOT permitted. Restrictions on all banners and signs may vary per event. Please check the event page for any restrictions.

Bottles & Containers

Guests are not permitted to carry bottles or containers into the AMP. For a list of prohibited items, visit our Building Policies page.

Box Office

The Amica Mutual Pavilion’s Box Office is in the main lobby. A ramp is located adjacent to the main entrance for guests requiring accessibility.

Phone orders are not accepted, except for guests requiring accessible seating. For all ticketing questions, please contact Ticketmaster Customer Service at 800-653-8000.

Canceled/Postponed Events

Should an event at the AMP be postponed or canceled, please visit the arena’s website and social media channels for up-to-date information.

Camera Policy

Non-flash, still cameras without a detachable lens are permitted at the AMP.  Professional photography equipment, including tripods and ring lights, are not permitted inside the AMP without a venue issued media credential.

Event Promoters reserve the right to deny cameras and/or mobile phone use at any time before or during their event.

Cash & Credit Cards

Concession and merchandise locations throughout the Arena accept all major credit cards. There are a select number of locations that will accept cash.

Catering

Charitable Donations

For all charitable donations to events at the AMP, please contact the Box Office. 

Coat Check

The AMP does not provide an area to check coats or any other personal belongings.

Concessions

There are several concession locations throughout the venue with various food and beverage options. Please note tthat he AMP is NOT a peanut-free or gluten-free facility. However, food items are not cooked in peanut oil and peanuts sold at the AMP are prepackaged. Guests with food allergies are encouraged to inform their server and request to review the ingredients and preparation of the items.

Counterfeit/Fraudulent/Secondary Market Tickets

The AMP utilizes bar code scanning for ticket entry. Guests are advised that the only authorized sales agents for tickets at the AMP are as follows:

  • Ticketmaster.com
  • Providence Bruins
  • Providence College

The only authorized ticket resale services for tickets at the AMP are Ticketmaster verified sites. Tickets purchased from any other source may not be valid, and the AMP is not responsible to honor, replace, or refund invalid tickets.

Guests with invalid tickets are welcome to purchase new tickets at the AMP’s Box Office, but seating inventory, location and price is based upon availability.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Locations

There are no designated drop-off or pick-up locations in front of the AMP.

Elevators

Elevators to the Budweiser Bar & Grill and Suite Level are located adjacent to the West Lobby (Hilton/Starbucks side). Elevator access is also available for guests requiring access to floor seating.

Entry Requirements

All guests must have a valid event ticket to enter the AMP.

Family Facilities

Baby changing stations are in every restroom located on the concourse. Family restrooms are located at Sections 117 and 128.  Guests requiring nursing accommodations can visit First Aid, which is located on the main concourse at Section 101.

First Aid

First Aid is located adjacent to the main concourse at Section 101.

Food & Beverage

Guests may not bring outside food and/or beverage items into the arena at any time. Guests must dispose of any items prior to entering the venue.

Guest Code of Conduct

The AMP is committed to creating a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Guests who do not comply with the Guest Code of Conduct guidelines below may be in violation of arena/state ordinances and will be subject to arrest, ejection and/or a lifetime ban:

  • Guests will enjoy the event experience free from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language and obscene gestures.
  • Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated, or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
  • Guests will sit only in their ticketed seat and show their ticket when requested.
  • Guests will not engage in fighting, throwing objects, or attempting to enter the playing or performing surface. Guests who do so will be immediately ejected from the arena.
  • Guests will not smoke in the arena. Guests who do so will be immediately ejected from the arena.
  • Guests will not display obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing.
  • Guests will comply with requests from arena staff regarding arena operations and emergency response procedures.
  • Guests will not exit and re-enter the building after entry.

Inclement Weather Policy

In the rare event that an AMP event is postponed or canceled due to inclement weather, please visit the AMP’s website and social media for up-to-date information on scheduled events. Should a decision be made to cancel or postpone an event, this information will be promptly posted on our site and all our social media platforms.

Interpretive Services

Guests are advised to contact the ADA/Guest Services Info line at 401.331.6700 at the time of ticket purchase or at least 14 days prior to the date of the scheduled event to arrange for interpretive services. Requests made less than 14 days prior to an event may not be accommodated due to availability.

Lighting

Strobes, Lasers, Pyrotechnics, and Haze may be in use during events.

Lockers

There are no public lockers or storage facilities at the AMP.

Lost & Found

Guests can report lost items by calling 401.331.0700 Ext. 7149 during business hours (Monday-Friday 9am–5pm) or visiting Guest Services during an event, located across from Section 128. Please provide as much information about the item as possible, such as color and physical description. If an item is turned in that matches your item, you will be contacted to verify details of the item and arrangements will be made for pickup. Proof of identity will be required before the release of an item. 

Lost Persons

Any guest looking for a lost person(s), should immediately report to Guest Services, which is located across from Section 128. All lost persons will be reported to AMP Security.

Lost or Stolen Tickets

Guests with lost or stolen tickets should contact the original point of purchase for further assistance. If you have purchased tickets through Ticketmaster, please call Ticketmaster Customer Service at 800.653.8000.

Media Access

Media credentials for events at the AMP can be requested via email at theamppvd@pvdricenter.com

All requests must be from an accredited member of the media.

Metal Detectors

Walk through metal detectors are used at all entrances of the facility. If needed, security will perform pat downs on guests in addition to the metal detectors. The arena recommends that guests should plan to arrive earlier than normal to allow extra time for this security process.

Parking

The AMP & RI Convention Center’s North and South Garages, which are ADA accessible, are conveniently located adjacent to the AMP. For more detailed information on parking, visit our parking page or contact the Parking Garage at 401.458.6338

Pick-Up & Drop-Off

There are several accessible parking spaces in front of the AMP that are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Guests may be dropped off in front of the main entrance at One LaSalle Square.

Protective Netting (Hockey)

During hockey games at the AMP, protective netting is hung above the glass behind both goals. This precaution limits the number of pucks that leave the ice and enter the seating area. Although the netting provides some protection from injury, the AMP reminds you to always stay alert.

Public Transportation

The Providence Train Station is located less than one mile from the AMP and has many local and regional routes servicing both MBTA and AMTRAK stations. A guide can be found here (need link)

Pucks

Pucks that go into the seating area during hockey games may be kept by the patron who catches the puck. Please note that while protective netting is put in place at each end of the arena, pucks may still go into the seating area. Hockey pucks are made of 100% vulcanized rubber and are chilled. When pucks go into the seating area, they can cause serious injuries, so please always stay alert. Please notify an AMP staff member or visit Guest Services located at Section 128 if you get injured by a puck.

Strobes, Lasers, Pyrotechnics, and Haze may be in use during events.

Re-Entry

Guests are not allowed to exit and re-enter the arena during an event. Should a situation arise which requires you to exit the building, please go directly to Guest Services located at Section 128 to speak with Security to make arrangements.  

Refunds & Exchanges

The AMP has a no refund, no exchange policy on tickets for all events.

Restaurant

The Budweiser Bar & Grill restaurant is located on Level 3 and is open during most Providence Bruins Hockey games and Providence College Basketball games. For hours of operations and reservations, please contact 401.572.3531.

Restrooms

Restrooms are in the Arena throughout the concourse.

Family restrooms are located at Section 127 and 118.

Security

Guests in need of assistance during an event should contact any security staff member or visit Guest Services located at Section 128.

Smoking

The AMP is a smoke-free facility and does not offer a smoking section during events. This includes vaping devices and any form of smoking pens. Smoking is prohibited and violations will result in ejection from the arena without a refund.

Standing

Standing on seats or any other building structure is not permitted and may result in ejection from the arena.

Stoppage of Play Policy

As a courtesy to your fellow ticket holders, we ask that during sporting events, guests refrain from walking around in the seating area until there is a stoppage in play. A staff member in your section will advise you when you are able to return to your seat.

Straws

The Last Straw Campaign, a Delaware North/Sportservice initiative, seeks to curb excess plastic waste by offering drinking straws on a request-only basis. All concession drinks will be served strawless.

Strobes

Strollers

Guests may bring strollers to events at the arena, however, strollers are not allowed on the concourse or in the seating area. Strollers must be checked at Guest Services located at Section 128. The AMP is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged strollers.

Vaping

Vaping devices of any kind are NOT allowed in the AMP, and patrons may be subject to ejection. 

Video and Audio Equipment Policy

Use of video or audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited at the AMP.

AMP Security reserves the right to confiscate any unauthorized recorded or video material.

Water

Courtesy cups of tap water are available for all guests. Please contact a concessions employee for assistance.

Weapons

Weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited at the AMP.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchair escorts are available for guests who may need assistance getting to or from their seat. Wheelchairs may not be reserved and are allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Will Call

The Will Call window, located at the AMP Box Office, is for Ticketmaster purchases, team, and internal reservations marked for will call. Will Call tickets are available on the day of the event only. Guests must provide a Photo ID.
