Building Policies
As part of an effort to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our guests and tenants, the Amica Mutual Pavilion management has added numerous safety and protective measures to our building policies. With strict enforcement of these new additions along with our existing policies, the Amica Mutual Pavilion can provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests. As such, no exceptions to the following policies will be made.

Accessible Facilities

The arena offers convenient facilities and features for persons with disabilities. Please call 401.331.6700 ext. 7154 during business hours or see a Guest Service representative for assistance during events. You may also email any inquiries to theamppvd@pvdricenter.com

Alcohol Policy
-
- To purchase alcoholic beverages, a patron must present a valid US driver’s license; Passport, US liquor ID, or Military ID, which indicates the patron to be at least 21 years of age. (Duplicate licenses, expired licenses, damaged licenses and/or identifications will not be accepted.)
- Any patron in the possession of alcoholic beverages on premises may be requested to produce identification, which must satisfy the foregoing requirements.
- No refunds will be offered for confiscated beverages.
- Any patron who presents false identification or who passes alcohol to a minor may be subject to ejection.
- We will not serve more than two alcoholic beverages to a patron at one time, and we reserve the right to limit service to one drink per patron.
- Our alcohol service will end at least one hour prior to the scheduled end of the event. We reserve the right to discontinue the sale of alcohol at any time.
- We will not serve any patron whom we believe to be intoxicated.
- Alcoholic beverages may not be taken into or removed from these premises. Any patron in the possession of alcoholic beverages not obtained on premises will be subject to ejection.
- Sportservice retains the right to refuse any ID, and to refuse/cease service to any patron at any time. Our policies are in place for your protection, as well as ours.

Animal Policy

Certified service animals for guests with disabilities are welcome at the arena and must remain on leash or in a harness. All other animals are prohibited.

Bag Policy

Clear bags or small wristlets (4x6) are strongly encouraged for all events as of 9/16/2021.
Baggage such as bags, briefcases, backpacks, and luggage are strictly prohibited. Guests entering the arena are subject to search at the discretion of Management. The arena does not provide storage for any confiscated baggage.

Camera Policy

All camera policies are event specific. Small, personal, digital point and shoot cameras are acceptable, however, cameras with professional lenses, detachable lenses or detachable flashes are prohibited from the arena. Use of video cameras, audio recording devices and digital cameras in video mode is strictly prohibited in the arena. The use of any of these items will result in disciplinary action and possible ejection from the arena. For additional questions, please contact the arena at 401.331.0700.

Covid-19 Policies

- Do I need a negative covid test to attend an event? At this point in time the arena is following the Rhode Island state guidelines. You do not need a negative test.

Firearms Policy

The only persons allowed to bring firearms into the arena are credentialed local, state and federal law enforcement officers with proper identification (active and retired). The arena does not have a weapons check-in. We will not take possession of firearms under any circumstances.

Food and Beverage Policy

Patrons of the Amica Mutual Pavilion are not permitted to bring food or beverages into the premises.

Guest Services is located on the concourse across from Section 128.

Metal Detectors
-
Walk thru metal detectors will be used at all entrances of the facility. Similar to procedures used at the airport, all patrons will walk through a metal detector prior to gaining access to the arena. If needed, security will perform pat downs on patrons in addition to the metal detectors. The arena recommends that patrons should plan to arrive earlier than normal to allow for this enhanced security process.

Prohibited Items

Drugs, weapons of any kind, baggage, noisemakers, or laser pointers are strictly prohibited at the arena.

Re-entry Policy

Guests will not be allowed to exit and re-enter the arena during an event.

Smoking Policy

The arena is a smoke-free facility, this includes vapor products. Smoking is prohibited and violations will result in ejection from the arena without a refund.

Venueshield Cleaning Protocols

- Prior to every event, trained staff will follow CDC and local guidelines on the cleaning and disinfecting of all areas including touch points (handrails, seats, restrooms, etc.). The Environmental Hygiene program was developed with guidance from CDC, NHS, PHAA, WHO and experts in hygiene.
- Everyone that enters the Rhode Island Convention Center will be encouraged to wear a face mask or covering if they have been vaccinated and required to wear a mask if they have not been vaccinated.
- Throughout the Rhode Island Convention Center multiple non-contact hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed. Although nothing replaces washing our hands with soap and water, these hand sanitizer dispensers have been placed for the convenience of all who attend events at the arena
