March 11, 2020: COVID-19 Update regarding events at the Amica Mutual Pavilion & RI Convention Center

The Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau (PWCVB), Amica Mutual Pavilion and Rhode Island Convention Center will be following RI Governor Gina Raimondo’s advisory against attending or organizing events with groups of 250 or more for the next two weeks.

We are currently working with our clients to reschedule events that are booked at both facilities in the immediate future to a later date.  The majority of our events, meeting and convention business has indicated that they will be postponing, rather than cancelling their events. 

The Amica Mutual Pavilion and the Providence Bruins will soon have more information regarding their upcoming scheduled games and events.

We all appreciate the understanding and patience of our clients, event attendees and hockey fans during this unprecedented time.
